This is a fun and exciting spot for Mohegan Sun Casinos. It definitely has that surprise element that you don't see coming with that out-of-the-blue remix of the late, great Rick James' classic, Super Freak. It makes sense that they made a fun commercial for a casino, a place typically associated with fun and games, but this particular spot may have lost some of the strength of its message during the song. It seems like they may have spent too much time putting gel in that guy's hair and choreographing really strange dance moves, and not enough time writing a song that really speaks to people. The commercial is clearly targeting middle-aged adults who need to add a little spice to their lives, so it doesn't really do much for me personally, but I guess if you are into getaway weekends and those sorts of things then this ad probably works for you.
