The "What's the worst that could happen?" campaign for Drugfree America has not always featured ads that have resonated well with me, but this piece of work produced by McKinney has exceeded my expectations. Comparing teen drug use to wasps inhaling bug spray is a metaphor that almost everyone in the country can understand. This ad sends a powerful message without throwing threats right into the faces of its consumers. I find it refreshing to see an agency do work for organizations that promote good causes, and for them to do so in a responsible way. I hope to see more good work like this from both McKinney and the Drugfree America campaign in the future.
