This ad is badass. McCann Erickson did a great job creating a photo that perfectly fits with this tagline. The picture not only shows an image of an American football, but also it screams toughness, which is exactly the focus of the Dusseldorf Panthers. They are trying to promote American football in a country where soccer reigns supreme, and their main focus is to promote the hard-hitting and high-impact dimensions of the game. Even without reading the copy of the ad, you immediately see what the agency is trying to tell you. Maybe it's just because I am a giant fan of the game of football, but I would rank this photo near the top of the list of my favorite artistic visuals in advertising.
